🚆 By Train (Renfe Cercanías)
The C1 Cercanías line (Renfe) connects Malaga City and Malaga Airport directly to Fuengirola. The journey from the airport takes approximately 35 minutes. From the final Fuengirola train station, Marenostrum is a 20-25 minute walk along the beachfront promenade.
🚌 By Intercity Bus (Avanza / ALSA)
Numerous Avanza intercity buses run along the coast stopping in Fuengirola (e.g., M-113 route). The Fuengirola bus terminal is located right next to the train station in the city center.
Important: The last C1 train returning to Malaga departs Fuengirola around midnight (approx 00:20). Since most Marenostrum headliners finish well past this time, you will inevitably be stranded if relying solely on train transport. Late-night public taxis and rideshares invoke massive surge pricing and waiting times exceeding an hour.
